IREM/THWS

The Institute for Rescue, Emergency and Disaster Management (IREM) was founded in the summer semester of 2014 and is affiliated with the THWS Business School. This makes it the faculty’s second research-based institution alongside the IAL. The IREM aims to translate interdisciplinary knowledge into usable projects and products. Of particular importance at the IREM is the integration of structures and experiences of members of authorities and organisations with security tasks (BOS).
